Glyfada is a very long beach in length and width, with golden sand and crystal clear waters. It is located in the west of the island and overlooks the vast horizon of the Mediterranean Sea. Glyfada’s sunset is the legendary.
It is fully organised with lifestyle beach bars, traditional restaurants, sunbeds, beach service. Ideal for all ages. Easily accessible by car.
Barbati
Barbati is one of the most cosmopolitan beaches of Corfu, with crystal clear waters and large white pebbles. It is surrounded by natural scenery and there are restaurants with Mediterranean cuisine and beach bars with good music. It has sunbeds and beach service all along the beach, except on the south side. Barbati is one of the locals’ favourite beaches, thanks to its close proximity to the town.
Paleokastritsa
Famous Paleokastritsa is not just a beach. It is an area with wonderful beaches that can be reached by road and some magical sandy beaches that can only be reached by boat (there are regular services for most of them).
Palaiokastritsa’s colours, caves, coves, bays, imposing cliffs and crystal-clear waters justify its reputation. It is about 20′ from Villa Nera and if you visit it, we recommend a visit to the historic Monastery of Panagia at the top of the hill.
Benitses
Benitses is one of the most popular beaches on the island. The surrounding area is very well known for its tourist and social activity over the decades. The waters are, like all over the island, clear and pleasant and the beach is organised. However, apart from swimming, it is worthwhile to tour the Marina, try one of the restaurants and have a drink in the picturesque and well-kept seaside port of Benitses
